Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you visit this website or engage with The Matwa Group and AWL Partners.

WHO WE ARE
The Matwa Group is operated by Jennifer A. Matwawana, MSW, RSW, a Registered Social Worker and leadership consultant based in London, Ontario, Canada. Our services include counselling, psychotherapy, speaking engagements, coaching, and leadership development programs.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We may collect the following types of personal information:

COUNSELLING AND PSYCHOTHERAPY RECORDS

If you engage with Jennifer as a counsellor or psychotherapist, your personal health information is governed by the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) of Ontario. Clinical records are kept separate from general business records and are handled with the highest level of confidentiality in accordance with professional standards set by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).

You have the right to access your own clinical records and to request corrections where applicable. Please contact us directly to make such a request.

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
As a Canadian business, we operate in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation. We collect and use your personal information only with your consent, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
